Is this a real life?…Oh yeah!…:d
Yesterday was chatting with my host-mom, Jess. She is awesome. She asked bout my trip. Can't wait to see you guys!
So I'm going to write about my feelings and impressions about America here, in viewy.
So i think i'm going to long way in my life. And that way gonna be great guys, inshallah!
So, as I understood I'm going to live with my exchange student from Germany. Her name is Sandra. I love Germany, especially its nature…My grandma from Germany, Raisa Shpitz. Miss her too much. Of course I will miss all my friends and relatives. But that's not bad, yeah? I'm going to see another country for a 1. And I'm very excited to see that life, to see my new family, to see my new beginnin', to see my new school, my new friends, my new dream…<3
As I mentioned bout my new two ltl sisters?! Jade, Kyndal, U have to see them! They cute. I think we gonna be good friends.
And that is my host-mom letter:
Ayzhan (and he MOM),
First I would like to say we are very excited to have you come, and we are very excited to see you too. Second, do you know yet when your plane will put you in Killeen? I know school starts August 23rd, but I figure you will be here before then, right?
Now I will tell you a little bit more about all of us.
DeWayne - He is in the military. He loves to camp, fish, play WOW on his computer. We both completely LOVE the t.v. show NCIS and watch it every Tuesday when the new season starts.
Me - I stay at home so I can do all the house things that need to be done. THis semester I will be taking a few classes at the college. I am working on my Bchelors of Arts right now. I love to read. Mostly historical romance, but alot of other things too. I enjoy swimming, and spending family time together.
Jade - Jade loves animals. I can see her being a vet when she grows up. She LOVES swimming so much she is just like a fish. She doesn't care to read, but I am trying to help her develope an apperiation for reading if not a love. She has a very sweet teperment (most of the time). She loves to draw and right now she is very interested in drawing different types of fashion. She would love to start riding horses again, and I am hoping to maybe get her into something like that in Texas. She also loves to ride her bike.
Kyndal - Kyndal is the one who has what most call a strong personality, but she is also very funny saying the funniest things. She likes animals too, and loves to ride her bike. She LOVES to read (by looking at the pictures) or being read to. She likes to be in the water, but is still learning how to swim better. She likes to watch tv and she likes to color. She is very full of energy and constentaly on the move.
Both of the girls love having an exchange student. They like to have a "big sister" around. They both enjoy being outside and hanging out.
For Labor Day weekend, which is in September my parents are talking about coming down for a visit. If they don't we will probably travel to Austin, TX and spend the holiday hanging out and Grilling with DeWayne's uncle.
For Jade's birthday in Spetember we are thinking about taking all of us down closer to southern TX and go to SeaWorld. I think she will enjoy it. She will be missing her friends, and I am not sure if we will have made new ones yet.
For Thanksgiving we will drive the 7 hours to Arkansas and stay with Wayne's parents and have a dinner there, and visit his grandma, and my BFF Mylissia.
For Christmas we will drive the 15 hours to visit my family in Iowa. We will see most all of my extended family on this trip. We will have big meals at atleast 2 if not 3 different houses hanging out with the family and playing games and catching up.
At some point in early fall we will take a long weekend and go camping. Do you like to camp? We always enjoy ourselves. We will find a lake so that we can swim, fish, etc.
I wanted to know more about what you like for foods. Do you like spicy foods? FIsh? Beef? Mushrooms? I am sure you will try many new things, but I always like to have some foods that you like around so you have some comfort foods. What do you like for drinks? Coke? Pepsi? Water? What type of Juices?
Our family has a lot of down time, but I don't think I know anyone that goes, goes, and goes all of the time. We are very excited and think this will be a learning experience for all of us. We will love to learn about your culture too.
I need to get going for now. I have to help finish loading all of our stuff out of this house so we are ready to leave. I have a little bit of packing, loading, and a lot of final cleaning to do.
Talk to you soon,
Jessica
To your Mom,
Thank you for the opportunity to show our culture to your daughter. If you have any questions of us don't hesitate to ask.
So, how do u feel this? The same i guess…;D
