So I just done it off me own back and tried me luck. I got speaking to her and she wasn’t coming around at first, playing hard to get. I think she heard who I was, but she wasn’t sure. That was my excuse when I called her. I said, ‘You don’t know who I am, so meet me!’ It was harassment I think… just loads and loads of phone calls and stuff like that and my friend also helped who knew her, but I got there in the end…

To play for Manchester United; the biggest, the best club in the world… it’s the stuff of dreams. If I had message for the fans, it’s to keep on going and keep on singing their hearts out because we do feel it.

For me, this is the biggest team of the world and to be part of this team is unbelievable. It’s a great feeling. All the people singing and screaming to support you; that’s an unbelievable feeling.

I try to give my best every game, because that shirt is so important.
