Summer: Hey Tom! I thought I might see you here. I always loved this place ever since you brought me.
Tom: So, I guess I should say, Congratulations.
S: Only if you mean it.
T: Well and I guess
S: So are you okay?
T: I will be.
S: I like your suit.
T: Ah, Thanks.
S: You look sharp
T: So do you.
S: Thanks.
T: I quit the office.
S: You did? I didn’t know. That’s great
T: You, uhm, you’re married?
S: Yeah. It’s crazy huh?
T: You should’ve told me. When we’re at the wedding, when we’re dancing.
S: Yeah. You didn’t asked me.
T: That he was in your life. So why did you danced with me?
S: Cause I wanted to.
T: You just do what you want. Don’t you?You never want to be anyone’s girlfriend and now you’re somebody’s wife.
S: Yeah. It surprised me too.
T: I don’t think I’ll ever understand that. I mean, it doesn’t make sense.
S: It just happened.
T: Yeah, that’s what I’ll never understand. What just happened.
S: I just, I just woke up one day and I knew.
T: Knew what?
S: What I was never sure of with you.
T: You know it sucks, realizing that everything you believed in is complete bullshit.
S: What do you mean?
T: You know. Destiny and soulmates, true love and all that childhood fairy tale, non sense. You’re right I should’ve listen to you.
S: No.
T: Yeah. Why are you smiling? What? Why are you looking at me like that?
S: Well you know. i guess it’s cause i was sitting in a dely and reading dorian gray and a guy comes up to me and asked me about it and now he’s my husband.
T: Yeah, and so?
S: So what if I’d gone in the movies? What if I had gone somewhere else for lunch? What if I’d gotten there ten minutes later? It was meant to be. I just kept thinking Tom was right.Yeah, I did.I did.It just was me that you weren’t right about. I should go.But I’m really happy that you’re doing well.
T: Summer, I really do hope that you’re happy.
