Personally I don't like paintings. I realise that they are very beautiful and amazing but most of all I like photographs. They fascinate me. Especially this one. This portrait was made in 1959. It's Sofia Loren - one of the most beautiful women in the world.She is an italian actress and singer. Now Sofia is 76 years old and she looks not so pretty as on this photo. I like it a lot. Black and white photographs are very special: they'are more expressive than common pictures, I guess. This is their charm.
Most of all on this picture I like her look. It's unusual. It's a pity but nowadays not so many people understand the whole point of beauty. And you know, sometimes it seems to me that I can look at this picture for a very long time.
