I like listening to music every day. My favorite kind of music is rock. My favorite music group is Skillet. I listen only to this group. I like the songs: "Awake And Alive", "Monster", "Comatose", "Hero", "Falling inside the Black", "Rebirthing", "Collide", "Whispers In The Dark", "Better Than Drags", "Forgiven", "Lucy", "It's Not Me It's You". I wanted to go to their concert, but my parents didn't let me. There are 4 musicians. I watched some interviews of them and as I'm learning English I could understand what they said. I like this group very much! In the future I dream all the same to go to their concert and see them alive and maybe I'll have a chance to speak to them.

Music very important nowadays. It makes our mood, atmosphere in films like make it more scary or more epic. There are a lot of styles of music like rock, electro, jazz, rap and other because there are different people with different flavors. In my article I'll try to tell you about one kind of style of music and how important to know English.

Style that i want to tell you about is called rock. It originated in 1950. I don't know who made the first rock song but I know who was very popular in 1950-1960 years. It was Elvis Presley probably everyone knows who he is so I won't tell you all his biography and other thing. So skip boring things I can briefly in the future of the genre born of many other subgenres like alternarive rock, hard rock, heavy rock and other. This style is very popular nowadays and probably everyone knows the begining of a song Smoke on the water by Deep Purple. So if you new and don't know what to listen try to listen songs by AC/DC, Nirvana and Queen.

And finaly I want to tell you how important it is to know English and how it is related to music. English in addition to that extends yout communicational possibity also gives the opportunity to understand what they sing about because you probably know that most of the rock music sung in English. Like if you translated a song you will hear it in a different way than before.

A few years ago I accidentally found one of the songs of "The Beatles" in my friend`s player. It`s name short, but unusual. This name was a lot of sense. The song was called "Let it be". That`s why I became interested.

My English helps me to translate their songs. I like to sing theis songs. If I having difficulties with the translation or pronunciation of certainwords, I open the dictionary and find there what I need. Thanks to English, I can understand the meaning of each of The Beatles songs.

My favorite songs are "And I love her", "Yesterday", "Let it be". There songs help me to think about something or just relax.
